和紙にふれる

"Tosa Washi" is a traditional craft of Kochi Prefecture with a history of more than 1,000 years.

We will hold a handmade workshop where you can experience the history, the life of craftsmen, and the warmth of Japanese paper that you have actually made with your own hands.

The lecturer is Osamu Hamada, a paper maker who continues to work in Kochi, Japan, and whose Japanese paper is used to restore national treasures and important cultural properties.

We look forward to your participation.

◆ Contents of the workshop
